Owens brigantine : 3/4 Enclosure
The customer wanted a 3/4 enclosure, they sent me schematics, met with me on the boat and together we designed every angle. The bimini was stopped about 24” behind the console, leaving all of the headroom and adding an intentional slope, matching the existing angle of the flybridge. The corner windows are free from obstruction with a clean wrap and integrated canvas piece to cover the frame only.
HUNTER 44: bonded California style dodger
This is the first bonded edge dodger I have made in Marina Del Rey since taking a continuing education seminar in Alaska. Wrapping corners with any type of clear is a challenge worth the style it give. This dodger is comprised of Makrolon, sunbrella, layers of glue, Solarfix Thread, synthetic sail material for strength, PVC Vinyl for re-enforcement, and leather accents. The combination of straight lines, corners, curves and Hallowing make this a timeless piece that is exceptionally durable.
Intrepid: minimalist Makrolon cover
This is a bonded sunbrella cover. layered with PVC Vinyl layered, lined with Evolution, which is a luxury car cover fabric. The purpose of this cover is to protect the Polycarbonate windows, the main challenge with this was using only little to zero hardware to attach the entire cover, keeping it quick to remove and install at the end of a long day enjoying the boat.
